Finding the Best YA Books

Finding the best YA books can be a daunting task, even with the myriad reading lists, bestseller lists, etc. The problem is that not only does everyone have their own opinion, those opinions are based on personal tastes that run the full gamut from one side of various spectrums to the other. One person’s tastes can be based on genre, literary style, content style, character elements, gender dominance, and a great deal more.

So, with these things in mind, it becomes advantageous to begin a multi-faceted search for the book that might best fit your specific criteria; you can do one search for genre, one for literary style, etc. Then compare the results from each search, and those titles that show up in the most of these listed results will most likely be highly suitable for your next reading list.

And for those who are slightly more precocious than the rest, you can broaden your search criteria beyond that of teen fiction, as there are a great multitude of books out there that, although they were not specifically penned with teens in mind might nonetheless be a great addition to a teen’s reading list!

Relaxation Within the Wilderness

Relaxation of your body and mind is crucial if you wish to discover your true nature in nature. Stress inside your body blocks the connection between what you are feeling.

Within our modern society there’s a lot of tension caused by the society in which we live. For example, there is a lot of stress because of time pressures, financial constraints as well as relationship problems. All this stress blocks the underlying natural relaxation that is a part of our authentic self.

Our authentic self does not hold onto tension in either the body or our mind. Instead there is a profound feeling of relaxation and resulting feeling of oneness with all things.

When I first enter the wilderness on a nature immersion I generally do a short relaxation exercise in order to let go of any residual tension that I might be holding onto within both my body and mind.
